- Hold a four year baccalaureate degree in a technical field from an accredited institution or if in a non-technical field, receive approval from the Quality Assurance Program Academic Coordinator, Milt Krivokuca.
- Have a background which includes preparation in both college level mathematics and computer concepts.
- Have achieved a grade point average of 2.75 (on a four point scale) in their bachelors degree.
- Be in official "good standing" at the last educational institution attended.
