Graduate students seeking the additional knowledge and skills beyond the traditional Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree have the option of concentrating in Management at California Coast University. Management professionals are essential to the success of any organization. The core courses are comprised of essential business and management concepts related to human relations, information systems, human resources, finance, organizational behavior, ethics, project management, leadership, employee training, strategic management, e-commerce, and the applicable research methodologies for effective managers.

Managers are responsible for the oversight of a specific set of tasked employees; their job is to guide and implement successful policies and profitable strategies. Managers also have the responsibility of influencing the willing and able workforce to combine resources effectively and efficiently to achieve a common goal. The formal education earned from the MBA in Management aims to enhance the necessary skills for organization in the dynamic and evolving workplace of modern corporations. The MBA in Management is designed for students who already hold a valid bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Leadership or Management. Students with a bachelor degree in another field of study will be considered on an individual basis; once the Admission Committee approves the potential students credentials and previous careers and experiences, nonbusiness bachelor students will be allowed to continue to the MBA program.
