California Coastal University offers a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources (HR), which is responsible for the employee experience. Many organizations and business entities have human resource departments to perform duties of attracting and recruiting suitable employees, use proper industry marketing, and the hiring and oversight of training and development during employment with the organization. HR departments are also involved with employee terminations including resignations, performance-related dismissals, and redundancies. Human resources are the human touch to the dynamic business industry.
Students earning the MBA with the concentration in HR will be part of a degree program encompassing essential concepts and topics of interests to perform as a liaison between the employee and the organization. The focused curriculum is comprised of courses including Human Relations, International Business, and Organizational Behavior. Graduates of the Master of Business Administration degree program from California Coast University may be able to use a Human Resources concentration when entering small or large organizations, and performing as well educated and informed individuals when leading and making strategic business decisions.
The MBA in Human Resources is designed for students who already hold a valid bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Leadership or Management. Students with a bachelor degree in another field of study will be considered on an individual basis; once the Admission Committee approves the potential students credentials and previous careers and experiences, nonbusiness bachelor students will be allowed to continue to the MBA program to earn the education concentrated in human resource theories.
