Program Details

Students interested in providing emergency services at the local and state level can pursue an Emergency Management associate’s degree online. Graduates will be skilled in both management and technical aspects of law enforcement, fire protection, emergency medical services, and emergency planning.

Virtual classroom and lab experiences introduce students to theories and techniques in emergency preparedness, protection, and enforcement. Areas of study include investigations, hazardous materials, codes, finance, and more. Students will also explore topics such as Emergency Management law and ethics, communication, local government finance, and municipal public relations.
