Program Details

Boise State University offers the Doctor of Education in Educational Technology (Ed.D.). This program explores the use of current and emerging technologies for effective and efficient teaching in a dynamic, global society. Areas of particular focus will include online teaching and learning, technology integration, academic technology leadership, innovative teaching in K-12 and higher education, educational software development for the web and mobile platforms, and educational games and simulations.

People who pursue a doctoral degree in educational technology are highly motivated by two things: a passion for applying research to the practice of teaching and learning, and a driving desire to lead and innovate in this ever changing field.
