Master of Divinity
Beulah Heights University
Beulah Heights offers students the opportunity to earn a Masters degree in Divinity (MDiv) through an online learning format. The program is available to graduate students who already hold previous degrees from an accredited institution, as well as to those seeking the advanced knowledge and skills needed to enter careers related to the church, ministry, or leadership in a religious setting.
The graduate MDiv program is comprised of 90 credit hours; allocated as core masters courses and student electives. Students must complete the required 17 courses in the MDiv program that are designed to deepen the student’s understanding of concepts through courses such as the Old and New Testament, Systematic Theology, and Early Hebrew History. The MDiv program will culminate with the student’s completion of a capstone course, demonstrating a student’s comprehensive understanding and applications of the programs primary objectives.
Students should be able to use the masters degree in ministry and church settings in the changing contemporary society. Ambitious students may also supplement the MDiv program with a concentration in Leadership, adding an additional 12 credit hours to the already 90 credit hours required for the MDiv degree. The added concentration may be useful for students pursuing chaplain positions or those students continuing their education at the doctorate level.
Upon successful completion of the required courses and credit hours, either the 90 or the 102 credit hours, graduates should be able to use the gained academics and professionalism when strengthening personal and career areas of faith, as well as to further develop ministry and working knowledge of the church and theology.

Beulah Heights Bible Institute, founded in 1918, first educated local students in the surrounding area of Atlanta, Georgia. By 1946, the institution relocated to Lakeland, Florida, and then in the 1960s, the school developed into a four-year Bible institute setting goals to include a graduate program. In the 1970s, as programs expanded and Beulah Heights gained accreditation, the college changed names to Beulah Heights Bible College. Once graduate studies were set into motion just after the turn of the century, the Board of Trustees approved a name change once more, and the college transitioned to Beulah Heights University.
Students can pursue associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, in addition to a doctorate degree. Beulah Heights University recognizes time constraints and required flexibility for working professionals and non-traditional students by sponsoring the Beulah Heights University Online Program. Regardless of location, students can complete their degrees at BHU.
