Program Details

The online Master of Education in the Generalist area is designed for individuals who hold a current teaching license and wish to further their educations and careers.  In the Generalist area, individuals design their own concentration of courses selected from other areas and electives to meet their own interests and backgrounds.  Required courses include Curriculum Development and School Improvement, Effective Instruction and Assessment, Mentoring and Supervision of Instruction, Meeting the Needs of Diverse Learners, and Educational Research.


  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Hold a current teaching license
  • A GPA of 2.75 for all college work
