The Baptist Health System, in San Antonio, Texas, commits to health care through an extensive network incorporating hospitals, fitness and rehabilitation facilities, specialty centers, like the Baptist Regional Children’s Center and the Baptist Breast Center, and a School of Health Professions.
Students enrolling in the School of Health Professions can pursue bachelor’s degrees and associate’s degrees. Furthermore, students can complete a diploma in Vocational Nursing or choose to enroll in post professional certificates. Currently the School of Health Professions offers several programs, along with a number of courses, online for students requiring greater flexibility. Some programs are offered in blended formats, and others are offered all online. Students participate in asynchronous classes, but are required to fulfill “rigorous attendance criteria” and engage in discussion boards.
