Program Details

The Doctor of Nursing Practice Executive Program is designed exclusively for chief nursing officers, vice presidents of nursing, and other nurse leaders aspiring to rise to nurse executive-level positions in hospital systems or rural and/or public health settings.

The curriculum and competencies are based on the standards and competencies of the Council on Graduate Education for Administration in Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Leaders, the National Center for Healthcare Leadership, and the Public Health Foundation.

  • Applicants must have an MSN with national advanced practice certification as a nurse practitioner (NP), nurse anesthetist (NP), nurse midwife (NMW), or clinical nurse specialist (CNS).
