Program Details

The online Master of Science in Chemical Engineering is a non-thesis degree program that is oriented toward engineering design and practice.  The curriculum includes the study of such specialties as: surface science, biochemical engineering, waste conversion, computer-aided PROCESS and design, chemical kinetics and reactors, and more.  Courses include Pulp and Paper Engineering, Digital Process Control, Hazardous Materials Management and Engineering, Transport Phenomena, and Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics.

Requirements

  • Campus visit may be required for oral examinations and project defense
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemical engineering from an institution of recognized standing or approved degree in science, math; or engineering discipline with completion of a bridge program at Michigan State University
  • Undergraduate experience in related areas of general physcis, calculus, differential equations, chemistry, etc
