Master of Accountancy
The Master of Accountancy (MAc) Program - Distance Learning Option from Auburn University is designed to provide students flexibility in balancing their coursework with their lifestyles, families, and professional commitments.
Students have the potential to complete the degree in only two years while working full-time. The courses cover key areas of accounting and business knowledge such as advanced topics in accounting, international accounting, planning, control and performance evaluation, financial statement analysis, financial accounting theory, taxation of businesses, and business law and ethics. These courses emphasize the skills and tools for accountants to provide information and assist decision makers. Emphasis is placed on the development and ongoing evolution of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards, product costing trends and issues and familiarization with computer information systems as an important tool of the accounting professional.
