Program Details

Auburn University offers a Certificate in Agricultural and Environmental Law by way of Great Plains IDEA distance learning. This online law degree examines what legal issues affect agribusiness, rural communities, food production and safety, water quality, land use, environmental concerns, and renewable energy.

The flexibility of this program allows working adults to pursue careers while achieving their educational goals.

The program will teach you to access legal documents and use legal counsel effectively. You will gain an understanding of how the legal system interprets environmental laws and understand the role of politics at the local, state, and national levels. You will be able to translate these lessons for the benefit of people living in both rural and urban areas.
