Program Details

Graduates of Aspen University’s online master’s Substance Abuse Counseling program will have an understanding of addiction, including psychological and neurological aspects, appropriate treatments, substance abuse prevention, and approaches to counseling individuals and families.

This substance abuse counseling degree online is designed to prepare students for the field of addiction counseling, however this program is not meant to fulfill state licensure requirements on its own.
