The online Master of Science in Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management program prepares professionals to meet the demands of this field. The curriculum uses a variety of teaching methodologies and activities as students learn about disaster preparedness, mitigation, planning, response, and recovery. Students can also receive credit for courses completed for the Graduate Certificate in Disaster Health.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 (4.0 scale) or a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours and/or previous graduate courses

- Completion of prerequisites in Incident Command System (ICS), Disaster Life Support (DLS), and CPR
