The Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership in Special Education prepares special education teachers for leadership roles. Candidates must have a master’s degree and one year of teaching special education.

  • Administer learning activities
  • Provide expertise in the assessment and implementation of steps to achieve goals
  • Collaborate with related personnel and services

The required internship helps students put theory into practice. Students complete this step as they continue their professional work. Some credits from this program do apply to A-State’s doctoral degree in education, should you choose to further your education.
