The online Specialist in Educational Leadership in Curriculum Director program is designed for teachers or administrators with Master’s degrees that wish to prepare for campus or district curriculum leadership roles. Students will learn the skills and knowledge needed to be responsible for school or district instructional materials including the evaluation and development of educational programs, textbooks, classroom technology, and teacher professional development. Coursework consists of analysis of comprehensive studies, research and data, administrative logistics, curriculum design, innovations and theories, ethics and professional behavior, and legislative aspects of the school system from the perspective of a Curriculum Directorship role.
