Program Details

The online RN to BSN degree program from Appalachian State University is designed for registered nurses who hold associate degrees or diplomas in Nursing, and wish to acquire a bachelor degree. The BSN program provides the academic knowledge and skills necessary to advance in the nursing field and/or pursue graduate study in nursing. Coursework covers topics such as:

This is a degree completion program. Requires 124 credits for completion, including transfer credits, RN-BSN required core credits and cognate courses (to be completed at a North Carolina community college or other accredited institution).

  • Must have an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Diploma in Nursing from a hospital program
  • Hold an unencumbered and unrestricted RN license to practice nursing (North Carolina or via a compact state nurse licensure)
