The online MA in Curriculum Specialist degree program prepares students to pursue employment as curriculum instructional specialists whose focus is the improvement of learning opportunities through instructional leadership in curriculum development, instruction, and staff development. Graduates possess the knowledge and skills required to develop a school culture that values diversity and promotes high expectations and achievement for all. Coursework provides instructional expertise, knowledge of learners, research skills and content knowledge, as well as professional and leadership development.
All applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or univeristy and a valid North Carolina "A" level teaching license or the equivalent from another state.
