Program Details

From a small-town clinic to a university teaching hospital, the medical environment presents unique business challenges that need to be solved, while trying to maintain the quality of patient care and services.  Learn to guide your organization through your challenges and make the right strategic decisions, with an online MBA in Healthcare Management from Angelo State University.  This graduate program combines a foundation in economics, marketing, finance, accounting, information systems and more, with specialized healthcare courses.  You will be prepared for management leadership roles within your medical setting with ASU’s MBA in Healthcare Management.  The curriculum is likely to include the following courses:

All ASU MBA candidates must also complete a Major Field Test (MFT) which is an integral part of the capstone course covering management practices in a global environment.  The MFT may be taken at a remote testing center with prior approval.  Online classes are 8 weeks in length and ASU’s MBA program can be completed in as little as one year.
