Angelo State University offers a Master of Education in Educational Administration degree for students and professionals in education who want to influence others and lead schools in order to benefit students and educators. Students of the program will learn the role of administration in developing school culture which will develop students’ love of learning. Students will learn about educational leadership and the administrative responsibilities inherent in the role of principal, superintendent and school administrator.
Candidates have the option upon completion of this degree to take the Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) for the Professional Certificate for Principals.
- Bachelors degree with a GPA of 2.5 or better, or a bachelors degree with a GPA of 2.5 or better in the last 60 hours of undergraduate work
- All college and university transcripts
- For State of Texas certification, applicants must hold a Texas Teacher Certificate and two years teaching experience in an accredited public school
