Program Details

A Certificate in Family Studies prepares students to provide educational and support services to families, parents, and children. Courses focus on how an individual’s needs and perceptions affect family dynamics.

Students will study topics from child development to the aging process. The needs and special circumstances of military families are also highlighted. Graduates will understand the strategies and practices of healthy and effective marriages and family relations.
