Through the online Counter Terrorism Studies program, students explore the origins and motivations for terrorism, terrorist strategies, and the latest counter terrorism tactics.
Students have the flexibility to complete their education while they maintain their existing duties. In this program, students cover the fundamentals of counter terrorism methodologies and they learn to utilize predictive intelligence methods based on real-world practices. Students are taught to define the causes and effects of terrorism and how to interpret religious and political motivations that spark violent attacks. The program provides an overview of various terrorist groups, their histories, and their ultimate objectives. In addition, students learn analytical methods, predictive tools, and effective procedures on how best to deter or protect against potential threats.
