Program Details

The online associate’s degree in Hospitality Management prepares students with practical skills and techniques for a successful career in the food service industry. The program was created with business leaders in the industry and can lead to pursuing a bachelor’s level degree if desired.

Students will learn about operational procedures including purchasing and storage, food service sanitation, food preparation, legal and insurance requirements, and marketing and sales. Theory and concepts will be studied as they relate to the real world responsibilities of a food service manager. An optional concentration in Restaurant Operations is available. Graduates will be equipped to effectively manage employees and improve restaurant performance.
