Program Details

Begin a legal education with this online paralegal associate degree. This is a DEAC-accredited, ABA-approved online paralegal degree.  

This program prepares students to complete many of the key tasks that prepare attorneys for cases, including researching and drafting legal documents. Learn legal terminology, procedural law, and the research skills that lead to career success. Designed with the assistance of working professionals in the legal industry, the curriculum focuses on providing an understanding of the core areas of law and the court system, covering relevant legal subjects that include:

• Real estate law
• Bankruptcy law
• Immigration law
• Tort law

Graduates will be ready to draft pleadings and other legal documents, interview clients, conduct independent research of nonlegal matters and simple legal questions, and draft legal memoranda.

Students take the Paralegal Certification exam offered through the Lexis+® Certification Program as part of a course. Graduates are prepared to take the national paralegal certification exam.
