Master of Business Administration
Alvernia University offers a Master of Business Administration degree for students and professionals in businesses who are interested in developing advanced and specialized knowledge of business management and business organizations in order to develop themselves as administrators and managers. Students will learn the business and entrepreneurial skills necessary to advance their career and meet the demands of the workplace, in addition to developing advanced understanding of the different areas of business management.
Students will take part in a curriculum designed to develop their knowledge of advanced business practices and knowledge of business operations and management techniques necessary for leadership and administrative roles within business organizations. Those classes include managerial accounting, strategic marketing, leadership, managing data, financial management, information technology, managerial economics, and more.
Students will have demonstrated their qualification to function as mid-level and high-level management in business through completion of the program.
Provide proof of a baccalaureate degree and official transcripts from all institutions attended. Three letters of recommendation. A one-page personal statement. Provide a resume outlining your professional and educational experiences. Provide scores from a graduate entrance exam (optional).
