Program Details

The online Associate in Arts in Elementary Education degree program is designed to prepare individuals for transfer to a four-year institution and/or for careers in pre-school education, elementary education, special education, para-education, or related fields. 

This online Elementary Education degree fulfills degree requirements for the first two years of study for Kansas Board of Regents universities. Graduates will be able to transfer into a bachelor’s degree program at these universities at the junior level.

The curriculum provides a solid foundation of general education courses needed for transfer, as well as specialized courses in areas such as:
