The online MSN with a concentration in Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner prepares experienced pediatric nurses to meet the specialized physiologic and psychological needs of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions. Students are able to choose their own preceptors, allowing them to engage in the types of experiences which they feel suit their needs/wants most effectively. Graduates of this program are equipped to provide complex monitoring and manage intensive therapies in a variety of settings, such as inpatient and outpatient hospital, emergency care, and home care.
