Program Details

The online Fire Protection Certificate program from Alamance Community College is designed to prepare firefighters for operational-level positions with the fire service. Courses may also be applied toward the AAS degree, and cover topics in:

Requirements

  • Residency determination
  • ACT or SAT scores (a placement test may be taken in lieu of this)
  • Students with transfer credit for English or mathematics courses may not be required to take the placement test
  • Official high school transcripts (not required if the applicant has earned as Associate degree or higher)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
