Students complete extensive field training with Adler University’s online master’s in Counseling degree with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Students apply theory and counseling skills and create treatment strategies with clients in hospitals, clinics, mental health centers, community organizations, and government agencies

 
Unique to Adler’s online counseling degree is a Social Justice Practicum where students work with a non-profit organization focusing on social justice and advocacy in their local area. Faculty provide mentorship and clinical supervision throughout the program.
