Program Details

The Master of Fine Arts in Animation & Visual Effects is an online fine arts program from one of the top art schools, the Academy of Art University.  This program provides the skills needed for careers as visual effects artists, 2D and 3D animators, and storyboard artists.  You will learn about all aspects of animation and visual effects, from ideation to postproduction.  Courses emphasize communication, collaboration, and time management skills throughout the program, so graduates are prepared for the intense professional culture they are entering.  This unique program features a studio production learning environment with courses taught by industry professionals at the heart of the animation industry.
