Program Details
The Art Education Master of Arts in an online STEAM teaching degree is designed to prepare you for a career as an art teacher in classrooms K-12. You will learn how to make material understandable to students, maintain a productive learning environment, and support students of diverse backgrounds. At the completion of the program, you will have a professional portfolio to begin your career as a credentialed art educator. The program culminates in a comprehensive capstone project: creating a video that advocates for arts education in the twenty-first century.
There are two tracks in this fine arts degree: one for people who received their BFA from the Academy of Art University, and one who received their BFA from another institution.
