The Master of Arts in Art Education / Studio Emphasis builds your skills as both an artist and an educator. This master’s in stem education online program is intended for students with limited studio experience. 

As part of the coursework, you design curricula for diverse audiences with consideration for the needs of different learners. You will also build on your ability to articulate the content, meaning, and purpose of works of art in this fine art degree. Additionally, you become proficient in the knowledge of human development, allowing you to create lesson plans that compensate for both accelerated learners and those with special needs. And, as part of the studio emphasis, you will gain experience through rigorous studio courses at the Academy of Art University. The program culminates in a capstone project where you ideate, create, implement, and document your education arts program.
