Communication and education majors share many things in common. Both enjoy their work most when surrounded by people. This is where their powers of intuition and empathy can be exercised and used to have a positive impact in someone’s life. It is not uncommon for communication majors to further their education in hopes of becoming a teacher. Their natural awareness of language and its uses makes them great editors and instructors. It also makes them great lawyers. It is instinct for these students to see every single angle and perspective. Professional programs often train them to use this skill in courtrooms.
