Are you interested in working in pediatrics?  If so, this DNP in Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program online will allow you to continue your education while specializing in this area.  Designed with working adults in mind, this degree can be earned primarily online with the clinical portions completed close to your home.  You will have the opportunity to work in pediatric ER, pediatric ICU, and on general pediatric inpatient floors, honing your knowledge and skills.  In addition to core DNP courses, students also complete such courses as:

  • Introduction to Pediatric Acute Care NP 
  • Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in Neonatal/Pediatric Acute NP 
  • Pediatric Acute Care NP

Students are not required to complete a thesis or dissertation.  Instead, you will complete an evidence-based scholarly project resulting in quality improvement changes.
