Program Details
The online MBA from the University of the Potomac features a concentration in Public Policy. The Public Policy concentration helps students understand intergovernmental relations and governmental theory while learning how to write grants and about public budgeting and finance. This concentration works well with the MBA that teaches students to identify problems related to U.S. and foreign businesses and to respond to these challenges. The rest of the curriculum consists of core MBA courses in topics including accounting, management, marketing, and operations so that the online program fulfills the same requirements and rigor as the on-campus program.
Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Analyze and interpret statistical data and economics relating to an organization
- Evaluate community responsibilities in organizations and society
- Solve complex ethical issues faced by organizations
- Communicate ideas individually and as part of a team
- Analyze and interpret financial data and determine an organization’s value
