Program Details

The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Houghton College offers an online psychology degree with a concentration in Clinical/Counseling psychology.  This, like other psychology programs, is designed to help students understand why humans think, feel, and act the way they do.  Students learn from their own experiences while developing a sympathetic understanding of others and learning how to help those in need.  All psychology degrees advance skills in project management, conflict management, ethical reasoning, and critical thinking along with the ability to deal with people from diverse backgrounds.

The Clinical/Counseling concentration prepares students for careers in those settings, helping clients deal with a range of psychological issues through counseling.  You will complete such courses as:
