As drug addiction grows in the US and continues to strain medical resources, National offers an online MA in Marriage & Family Therapy with a progressive, contemporary specialization in Systemic Treatment of Addictions. Coursework focuses on both the history and theory of addiction, alongside co-occurring disorders. You’ll study treatments based upon systemic theory and evidence-based models. This advanced degree requires an extensive clinical practicum and an internship which can be completed at a local setting. Curriculum is likely to include:
