The online Master of Health Administration is designed to help working professionals and other individuals who wish to advance in the field of health administration, preparing them to take on positions in hospitals, health insurance organizations, medical group practices, clinics, mental health organizations, public health departments, universities, physician practices, long-term care, and more. Students learn competencies such as political, social, and economic factors that affect health organizations and policies; organizational management theories and behaviors; and how to use quantitative methods for business and health. Courses include Health Care Finance and Reimbursement, Research and Evaluation Methods, and Managerial Accounting and Budgeting.
