About Midlands Technical College
Midlands Technical College, founded in 1974, is a comprehensive two-year college that offers career and transfer education in West Columbia, South Carolina. MTC is now part of the South Carolina Technical College System.
MTC offers many degree and certificate programs. Midlands Technical College partners with four-year programs within the college’s service area to offer one hundred percent articulation agreements. MTC offers a broad range of programs, partnerships with local employers, high-tech facilities, and more. Many students transfer to Columbia College or the University of South Carolina. Students can attend day, evening, or online coursework. Flexible online programs work around student’s busy schedules.
