About Medical College of Wisconsin
Medical College of Wisconsin is a four-year private school located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The institution was founded in 1893 as Wisconsin College of Physicians and Surgeons and was formerly affiliated with Marquette University. MCW is one of only two medical schools in Wisconsin and is the only private medical school in the state. The school’s mission is to be a national leader in the education and development of the next generation of physicians and scientists and to teach students to provide cutting-edge, interdisciplinary and compassionate clinical care of the highest quality to their patients.
