Program Details

The Associate of Arts in Counseling is an online counseling degree available at Hobe Sound Bible College.  The primary objective of any degree at Hobe Sound is to promote spiritual development while preparing Christians for more effective service for the Lord.  This degree in counseling provides a basic foundation of counseling knowledge and skills so that students may enter graduate studies to prepare for careers in the counseling field while also gaining a deeper understanding of the Christian faith.  You will study the Bible and learn how to share the Word of God with others while also gaining the interpersonal skills needed to work with individuals in the field of counseling.  The program strives to help students understand the importance of a Christian concept of self and of leading others to Christ and then nurturing them as disciples in the Christian faith through counseling.
