Program Details

The Associate in Applied Science in Legal Studies provides a foundation in legal practice, enabling graduates to perform law-related work under a lawyer’s supervision. Classwork in this online law degree develops skills in critical reasoning and analysis, communication, research, and writing.

Graduates are able to identify and analyze legal issues, investigate and evaluate facts, interview clients and witnesses, prepare legal documents, conduct legal research, and perform many other law-related duties. Students who earn the Associate in Applied Science degree are also able to transfer to the bachelor’s program if they wish.
