Program Details
The online Master of Arts in Christian Education degree from Dallas Theological Seminary is designed to prepare students for teaching, leading, and discipleship roles in ministry. Topics include biblical exposition, systematic theology, spiritual formation, and more. Concentrations include youth and young adult ministry, ministry with women, children’s ministry, disciplemaking, and others.
A sample of classes include, but are not limited to:
- The gospels
- Acts and Pauline epistles
- Bible study methods and hermeneutics
Qualifying MACL students may complete a residency at a local church, including two week-long intensives on the Dallas campus. This residency replaces the internship requirement. Students at DTS receive a copy of Logos Bible Software with additional resources, and DTS courses integrate Logos into assignments.
