Program Details

Liberty University’s Bachelor of Science in Aviation focuses on the effective aeronautical decision-making skills needed for a career as a commercial, military or missionary pilot. Liberty University has the largest flight school in Virginia, and you may submit a pilot’s license to apply for PLA credit, or opt to enroll at one of our Flight Training Affiliate locations. Students will take classes in airplane aerodynamics, commercial flight, aviation weather, turbine engines, and more.

  • This program requires in-person flight training. If you do not have a pilot’s license, Liberty’s Flight Training Affiliates (FTAs) are conveniently located around the country, giving you the flexibility to complete the necessary flight hours for a pilot’s license without needing to come to campus.
