Learn to better implement science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education into the classroom at the middle and secondary school levels. You will learn to implement standards-aligned and project-based curricula, developing new digital teaching and learning techniques to better reach your students.
Courses explore the sociocultural foundations of STEM and the psychology of teaching and learning in STEM environments. Social justice and equity-centered courses are included in the curriculum. While studying, you will complete project-based learning and community-engaged action research, learning to integrate STEM disciplines in ways that center around the needs of students and your community.
