Program Details
The online Doctor of Medical Science is a two-year program designed for working physician assistants to attain their doctorate degrees. This online program offers two tracks which are Education or Advanced Clinical Practice. This flexible and convenient online degree program offers a manageable course load that culminates in a capstone project that enhances practical skills.
Classes include, but are not limited to:
- Leadership and professionalism
- Program evaluation
- Scholarly writing
The advanced curriculum will help graduates become leaders in their clinical practice, PA education, or healthcare administration. Graduates will be more than equipped to handle challenges in the profession. - Requires completion of a regionally-accredited master’s degree in healthcare, education, management, or related discipline
