About Albany Medical College
Albany Medical College is part of the greater Albany Med Health System. This partnership of learning and working provides opportunities for students to gain real-world applications to carry forward into a career. Albany offers graduate degrees and certificates in healthcare, basic sciences, and the growing field of bioethics. Hybrid and online options are available for select programs.
First enrolling 57 medical students in 1839, today the student body has grown to more than several hundred students. Even with larger numbers of students, this private medical school continues to value its intimate learning environment.
