Combine your love of sports with your interest in business with the online sports management master degree.  Gain the skills and knowledge needed for behind-the-scenes careers in the sport industry, such as management and leadership, sport marketing and finance, critical thinking, and problem solving.  Courses are focused on the application of content in applied work settings and combine innovative courses with professional development.  Students learn about organizational management and leadership, facilities, marketing, finance, fund raising, legal issues, governance, and ethics in sports.  Choose from two areas of emphasis:

• Comprehensive Sport Industry Management which is designed for working sport management professionals and those seeking to enter the field, allowing you to build professional networks.
• Interscholastic Sport Administration which is designed for those working or entering careers as athletic directors or faculty managers in interscholastic settings, preparing you to sit for the certification exam (CAA) administered by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association (NIAAA).

This degree does not require a thesis.
