Accreditation can be a very complicated and confusing topic especially when diploma mills often set up their own, fake accreditation agencies to “accredit” their scams! The quickest way to see if an online school is legit or not is to search for the name of the school in the U.S. Dept. of Education’s accreditation search. If the school is not found you can trust that their accreditation is NOT recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education.
