Greetings, Firstly, I wish to express my gratitude for this Website! I am currently pursuing a distance learning MA in theology via the Franciscan University of Steubenville (FUS) in Ohio. I know that FUS and its programs are accredited by the CHEA, but I was wondering if the distance learning theology MA in particular is accredited/valid/legitimate. From what I know, some accredited universities/colleges offer phony online degrees. I hope that FUS is not one of them. I look forward to receiving a response!

I have not been able to find any evidence that Franciscan University’s Online MA in Theology does not hold the same accreditation as the university itself.
I’d advise you contact an Admissions staff member to double check.
